Wine from 2.2 hectares of red Algarve soil
The vineyard
Planted in 2017, first bottled in 2020
The vines went into the red soil in 2017 — Alvarinho and Chardonnay for the whites, Touriga Nacional, Aragonês and Syrah for the reds.
It is a small project by design: 2.2 hectares of vines, and the family doing the work.

Branco Reserva
Alvarinho · Chardonnay
Fuller, rounder and made to keep. Our most decorated wine: gold in 2024, silver in 2021 and again in 2025.
Tinto
Touriga Nacional · Aragonês · Syrah
Dark fruit and warm spice, easy to drink young. The 2020 took gold at its first competition and 16.5/20 from Grandes Escolhas.
Tinto Reserva
Touriga Nacional · Aragonês · Syrah
Aged in French oak before bottling. Both the 2021 and the 2023 were given honourable mentions in 2025.
Grande Reserva Tinto
Touriga Nacional · Aragonês · Syrah
The longest in barrel and the smallest quantity we make. The 2021 took silver at the XVI Concurso de Vinhos do Algarve.
Since the first vintage
Seven medals and mentions
XIII Concurso de Vinhos do Algarve, Lagoa — gold for the Quinta do Rogel Tinto 2020 and silver for the Branco Reserva 2020, from the first vintage we ever made.
Gold for the Branco Reserva 2022 at the 9.º Concurso de Vinhos Nacionais of the Confraria do Bacchus de Albufeira, and silver for the Grande Reserva Tinto 2021 at the XVI Concurso de Vinhos do Algarve.
Silver for the Branco Reserva 2023, with honourable mentions for the Tinto Reserva 2021 and the Tinto Reserva 2023.
Grandes Escolhas rated the Quinta do Rogel Tinto 2020 at 16.5 out of 20.
